R-PE-conjugated immunoglobulin in 10 mM phosphate buffer, pH 7.2 with 150 mM NaCl and 0.09% (w/v) sodium azide.

Preparation and Storage

Preparation: The antibody was purified from tissue culture supernatant by affinity chromatography. The antibody was conjugated with R-PE under optimum conditions. The solution is free of unconjugated antibodyStorage: The conjugate should be stored undiluted at 4°C and protected from prolonged exposure to light.

Usage

This antibody conjugate has been tested by immunofluorescent staining ( 1 mg/10⁶ cells) with flow cytometric analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. PE has been reported to bind mouse B cells via FcgII receptors. For immunostaining of mouse cells, this binding can be prevented by preincubating cells with Mouse Fc Block™ (Cat. no. 553141/553142).⁴ Please contact BD PharMingen`s Technical Service Department for more information. Since applications vary, each investigator must determine dilutions appropriate for individual use.
