Purified immunoglobulin in IHC antibody diluent containing serum* and 0.09% (w/v) sodium azide.

Preparation and Storage

The antibody was purified from tissue culture supernatant by affinity chromatography. The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4°C. Pretreatment of the sections with 1tissue grade trypsin diluted in PBS (sigma Cat. No. T4549) for 30 minutes at RT is required.

Caution

Sodium azide yields highly toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in plumbing.
