Preparation and Storage

The antibody was purified from tissue culture supernatant by affinity chromatography. The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4°C. Since this preparation contains no preservative, it should be handled under aseptic conditions.

Usage

This antibody has been tested by LAL assay for endotoxin level and by immunofluorescent staining ( 1 µg/million cells) with flow cytometric analysis to assure specificity, reactivity, and in vitro blocking of Fc-mediated binding of antibodies to rat FcgII receptor-bearing cells. Other reported applications include western blot analysis, immunohistochemical staining (IHC) of acetone-fixed frozen and zinc-fixed paraffin-embedded sections, and blocking of ligand binding.¹ IHC of formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections is not recommended. Since applications vary, each investigator must determine dilutions appropriate for individual use.
