It can also be used as a protein standard, or in other research applications.This recombinant protein was expressed from a DNA sequence encoding the mature form of mouse NGF (NP_001106168.1), residues 122 to 241, with an initial Met at the N-terminus.Activity: Measured in a cell proliferation assay using TF1 human erythroleukemic cells. The ED₅₀ for this effec is 0.2-2.0 ng/ml.Formulation: Lyophilized in 50 mM Na acetate buffer, pH 5.5, 150 mM NaCl, 5% Mannitol, 5% Trehalose, and 0.02% Tween 80.Reconstitution: Dissolve the protein in sterile double distilled water to a concentration of 0.2 mg/ml or lower. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted and be used as soon as possible. Store aliquots under sterile conditions at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
