VILO is an acronym for variable input, linear output; and the SuperScript&reg: VILO™ cDNA Synthesis Kit provides the most consistent results for your RT experiments, with unprecedented linearity across the broadest range of input material.Using the SuperScript® VILO™ cDNA Synthesis KitThis formulation provides enhanced cDNA synthesis efficiency and can be used with very low and very high amounts of input RNA (up to 2.5 µg total RNA in a 20 µL reaction), giving a linear response in message abundance as measured by qPCR. The 10X SuperScript® Enzyme Mix includes SuperScript® III RT, RNaseOUT™ Recombinant Ribonuclease Inhibitor, and a proprietary helper protein.SuperScript® III RTSuperScript® III RT is an engineered version of M-MLV RT with reduced RNase H activity and increased thermal stability.
