In general, recombinant proteins are suitable for use in studying protein-protein interactions, as a protein standard, or in cell biology research applications. This recombinant protein was expressed from a DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain (Met 1-Gly 236) of human IL7R (NP_002176.2) fused to a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.Activity: Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized human IL7R-Fc at 1 µg/well can bind biotinylated mouse TSLP-His with a linear range of 0.032-0.8 µg/ml.Formulation: Lyophilized in PBS, pH 7.4, 5% Mannitol, 5% Trehalose, and 0.02% Tween 80.Reconstitution: Dissolve the protein in sterile double distilled water to a concentration of 0.2 mg/ml or lower. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted and be used as soon as possible. Store aliquots under sterile conditions at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
