It can also be used as a protein standard, or in other research applications. This recombinant protein was expressed from a DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain of the human CD34 precursor (NP_001020280.1) (Met 1-Thr 290) fused to the Fc region of human IgG1 at the C-terminus.Activity: Measured by the ability of the immobilized protein to support the adhesion of the HUVEC human umbilical vein endothelial cell line . When 4 x 10⁴ cells/well are added to human CD34 coated plates (100 µl/well of a 0.8 µg/mlsolution), >40 % will adhere after one hour at 37°C.Formulation: Lyophilized in 140 mM NaCl, 2.7 mM KCl, 10 mM Na₂HPO₄, 1.8 mM KH₂PO₄, pH 7.4, 5% Mannitol, 5% Trehalose, 0.02% Tween 80.Reconstitution: Dissolve the protein in sterile double distilled water to a concentration of 0.2 mg/ml or lower. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted and be used as soon as possible. Store aliquots under sterile conditions at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
